Vision screening is conducted on-site at your company. Testing equipment is set up in essentially any area that is easily accessible to employees. Vision tests are confidential between the employee and tester even when others may be observing. This permits testing in busy areas when other people are present.
The standard test battery consists of the following:
- Far (distance) vision test for right and left eyes (binocular).
- Near (close-up) vision test for right and left eyes (binocular).
- Color discrimination test for right and left eyes (binocular).
The standard test battery takes approximately 7 to 10 minutes per individual, including the initial paper work.
A management report is generated which presents vision scores in familiar Snellen equivalents, i.e., 20/20 (perfect vision), 20/40, 20/80, etc. Expanded vision testing such as separate right and left eye testing, depth perception and visual alignment is also available.
