Mobile Hearing Testing
CAA's mobile hearing testing unit is equipped to test four to six employees at one time. All testing is conducted using state of the art computer-controlled audiometers. Inside our vans, the test environment far exceeds the OSHA background noise requirements.
|
Each employee is tested independently on a separate audiometer. This allows complete flexibility for each employee to take the test at his/her own pace.

Follow-up testing is an OSHA required component of every Hearing Conservation Program for those employees requiring a medical referral. CAA can provide all follow-up testing on-site at your plant. In addition to the required testing, a follow-up visit to your plant allows retests of employees showing OSHA Standard Threshold Shifts, and testing of employees who were missed on the original date of testing.

Portable In-House Testing.
CAA is increasingly providing in-house testing of employees within the plant facility. We are finding that this approach is often more convenient for the employees and the company. Testing people within their work facility is often more efficient, comfortable and economical. With Portable In-house Testing, we can test up to six (6) employees at one time. We need a small to medium sized room that meets the background noise standard of OSHA. Most conference rooms, offices, training rooms or even lunchrooms that are not in use, work out quite well. CAA will come to your facility and measure the background levels to assure that they are acceptable, before proceeding with portable in-house testing.
